CAPTAIN/CO-CAPTAIN TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Each session we host a fun tournament to say THANK YOU to all the fantastic captains and co-captains that help make Suwannee River APA a great experience for everyone! Over $1,000 will be paid out in cash and prizes at this event! 

Scotch Doubles Teams
This is a scotch doubles tournament for BOTH 8-ball and 9-ball players. ANYONE can participate in this event. Teams must consist of AT LEAST one player that served as captain or co-captain during the Spring 2025 session but ANY other Suwannee River APA player (any team, 8-ball or 9-ball) can be their partner. That means the captain of my 8-ball team could play with his/her friend on a 9-ball team AND the co-captain of my 8-ball team could play with someone else from our 8-ball team! This creates more opportunity for everyone to participate in this FREE tournament!
 
There is a max skill level limit of 10 per team; in the event a player has a different skill level in 8-ball and 9-ball, the higher of the two skill levels will be factored into the team's total skill level. Skill level 9s will be treated as a skill level 8 in this event.
 
Tournament & Game Rules
Since this is a combined 8 and 9 Ball Captain/Co Captain tournament, the winner side will play 8-Ball and loser side will play 9-ball until the team comes back to the winner side where they will resume 8-Ball to the finals.
